Press quotes
“He is a musician who already has his recognizable compositional style today and is intended for world stages.” — Nový Populár (Stanislav Počaji)
“A complete instrumental dramaturgy. Well-arranged cinematic storytelling. An impressive precision and a top notch performance.” — Musik Direkt, national finals
“Mötet mellan genrerna och instrumenten skapar något nytt och tack vare insatsen av musikerna är det ibland till och med så att armhåren reser sig. […] Albumet är ett måste.” — Lira Musikmagasin (Hanna Lenander) about Cloud Atlas Trio's Echoes from a Faded Past, 2023. In English: “The meeting of the genres and instruments creates something new, and thanks to the musicians' performances it sometimes even makes the hairs on your arms stand up. […] The album is a must.” (our translation)
“Det finns massor av fingerfärdiga fingerstylegitarrister där ute, men få av dem lyckas kombinera artisteriet med uttrycksfull och meningsfull musik. Och just det är Salomons styrka — att aldrig låta fingrarna springa före det musikaliska.” — Crafton (Magnus Olsson), 2021. In English: “There are plenty of nimble-fingered fingerstyle guitarists out there, but few of them manage to combine that artistry with expressive and meaningful music. And that is exactly Salomon's strength — never letting the fingers run ahead of the music.” (our translation)

Short biography
Salomon Jakobsson is a solo acoustic guitar player and composer from Sweden who simultaneously performs multiple musical parts, creating pieces that extend the expression and range of the instrument. With a sense of control and restraint in his work, as well as a breathtaking level of emotion and personality, his sound reaches from ethereal harp harmonics to fugue-like polyphony. Since releasing his debut album In the Valley of Notes in 2016 he has toured around Europe, won awards in music competitions, received a bachelor's in guitar from Malmö Music Academy and has been invited to Ibanez and D'Addario's international team of artists. Today he is based in Malmö, is one third of Cloud Atlas Trio, and studies partimento with Prof. Peter van Tour.
